turtle pumpkin pie
It's delicious and real simple to fix. It only takes 15 minutes to
prepare then chill in refrigerator for 1 hour. Everyone that has tried
it says it good and ask for the recipe.
Ingredients
1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. Caramel ice cream topping, divided
1 Graham Cracker Pie Crust
1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. Pecan Pieces, divided
1 cup cold Milk
2 pkgs.(4-serving size each)Vanilla instant pudding mix
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 8-oz. tub Cool Whip, thawed & divided
Directions
Pour the 1/4 cup caramel topping into the bottom of the graham crust then sprinkle with the 1/2 cup of pecan pieces. In a big mixing bowl take the milk, both boxes of pudding mix, pumpkin, and both spices and whisk them for about 5 minutes until well blended. Now get you a big spoon and dip 1 1/2 cups of cool whip into mixture and stir until blended. Now take and spread into your graham crust. Take remaining cool whip and lightly spread on top of pie. Now you need to refrigerate the pie for 1 hour so it can chill and set. After the hour has past take pie from refrigerator and top with the 2 Tbsp. of pecan pieces and drizzle the 2 Tbsp. of caramel topping on top with a fork. Your pie is now complete and ready to eat. Make sure to refrigerate after serving.
