sage stuffing
This recipe is a family favorite and has been passed down for generations.
Ingredients
1 bag sage flavored breadcrumbs
1 stick butter
1 onion, diced
1 14 oz cans chicken broth
Sage to taste
Salt to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F. Take stick of butter and melt in saucepan, add onions and cook until clear. Put bread crumbs, sage, salt, and cooked onions in large bowl and stir together slightly. Add chicken broth until mixed. Place stuffing mix in 9x9 baking pan. Cook at 350F for 30-45 minutes until top is baked. Prep time 15 minutes. Cooking time: 30-45 minutes. Makes approximately 10 servings.
