ABC w/ cheese


It's the ABCs of eating. This mac and cheese medley can actually be a learning experience for those tots who have an appetite for an edible education. Plus, it can be thrown together on the fly for a quick fix.

Ingredients


    • 6 cups milk

    • 10 oz. alphabet pasta

    • 3 eggs, beaten to mix

    • 3 oz. grated Parmesan cheese

    • Freshly grated nutmeg

    • Coarse salt

    • Freshly cracked black pepper

Methods/steps
  1. Bring the milk to a boil in a large saucepan.
  2. Add the alphabet pasta and cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until al dente and the milk is thickened to a cream consistency, about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the eggs, cheese, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
