Cream Cheese Pastries

Ingredients
Two pkgs Crescent rolls from Dairy Case
One 8 oz. pkg. light cream cheese
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar (divided)
One egg yolk
One tsp. each Almond and Vanilla flavorings
3/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
Unroll and spread one pkg of crescents in 9X13 pan, sealing seams. Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, egg yolk and flavorings until smooth and creamy. Spread over crust. Chop nuts and sprinkle over filling. Separate other pkg of crescents and lay pieces over filling and nuts. Bake 30 minutes at 350'. Make glaze of 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 tsp almond flavor and just enough warm water (1 tsp?) to make a smooth glaze, drizzle after cooling. Cut into squares and serve.
