Breadsticks

Bread sticks for Italian dinners (or soup and salad) substitute cinnamon for garlic if you want a sweet snack!!!!! Ingredients 1 tablespoon active dry yeast 1 cup warm water 1 teaspoon salt 2 cloves garlic, minced about 2 1/2C whole wheat flour Directions dissolve yeast in warm water for 10. stir in salt, and garlic. add flour slowly. turn out onto well floured board and knead 20minutes or until smooth and satiny. spray bowl with vegetable cooking spray and place dough in it. cover and let rise in a warm place for 30mins. punch down. preheat oven to 400 degrees. on a floured board roll dough our into a 12inch square. sprinkle dough lightly with additional flour. divide into 4 equal pieces. cut each piece into 10 strips. stretch each strip out to 12-15inches long. place on greased cookie sheet 1/2inch apart. bake for 15mins or until golden brown and crispy Prep Time: 1 Hr Cook Time: 15 Min Total Time: 1 Hr 15 Min Servings: 20
