Chocolate-Chip Cookie Bars
Soft Cake-like Cookie Bars that stay soft up to a week if kept in sealed baggie!
Ingredients
3 1/4 C. Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 X-Large Eggs
2 Sticks Imperial Butter - best results
3/4 cup Sugar
3/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
12 oz Chocolate Chips
1 cup nuts your choice (optional)
Directions
use 2 bowls first sift flour,salt,soda in bowl set aside
in other bowl sift both white and brown sugar to get as fine as possable then add softened butter but not to soft
Cream butter,sugars, add vanilla stir add eggs cream real good then add flour mixture mix well. It will get stiff but it will mix well then add chips, nuts

use cake pan that's around 11 x 15 for best results the 10 x 13 works but might start burn on edges
spray or grease bottom pan only
Bake 350 Degrees 28-30 minutes Take out oven when top is light golden brown Let Cool 15 minutes then Cut with butter knife 2 strips longways then about 1-1.25 inch strips = @11 slices or 33 strips! When Cooled Enough Store in sealed container or zipper bags!
