Mixed Greens w/ Hearts of Palm

It doesn't have to be Palm Sunday for you to have a heart... or two. This mixed green salads is a great way to wake up your tastebuds. When you're in the mood to go gourmet, start your meal out with green dream. Serves 4 Ingredients 6 cups mixed salad greens 1/2 cup artichoke hearts, quartered 1/2 cup hearts of palm, sliced 1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted 1 cup olive oil 1/3 cup white wine vinegar 2 tbsp. basil, fresh, chopped 1/2 tsp. garlic, minced Methods/steps Dressing: Add the vinegar and garlic to the food processor bowl. With the processor running, drizzle in the oil. Add the basil and pulse a few times. Salad: Arrange the greens on medium plates. Place the artichokes and hearts of palm around the edges. Ladle on the dressing. Garnish with the toasted pine nuts.
