Toad in the Hole Bake
Classic English fried egg and bread breakfast is transformed into a quick dish--without the frying!
Prep: 10 min./Total: 20 min.
Ingredients:
8 slices bread
1 tbsp. butter, softened
1 c. Kraft Shredded Cheddar & Monterey Jack Cheese
4 eggs
2 slices Oscar Mayer Bacon, cooked, crumbled
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Cut a hole in the center of 4 of the bread slices using 1-1/2" cookie cutter or rim of a glass. Spread butter over one side of remaining bread slices. Place, butter-side down, in 13X9" baking dish.
Top with half of the cheese, then bread slices with holes in the center. Break 1 egg into each hole. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bacon.
Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and eggs are set.
Makes 4 servings.
