Better-Than-Ever Cheesy Meat Lasagna
Rich-tasting & meaty, this hearty lasagna is also wonderfully made.

Ingredients:
3/4 lb. extra-lean ground beef
3 cloves cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1 jar (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 lg. tomato, chopped
0 lasagna noodles, cooked, drained
1 container (16 oz.) Breakstone's or Knudsen Low Fat Cottage Cheese, divided
2 c. Kraft 2% Milk Shredded Reduced Fat Mozzarella Cheese, divided
Preheat oven to 375 deg. F. Brown meat w/ garlic & oregano in med. saucepan. Stir in spaghetti sauce; simmer 5 min. Remove from heat; stir in tomatoes.
Spread 1/2 c. sauce mixture in 13X9" baking dish. Layer 3 noodles, 1 c. cottage cheese, 1/2 c. mozzarella cheese & 1 c. remaining sauce mixture in dish. Repeat layers. Top w/ remaining 3 noodles & remaining sauce mixture. Cover w/ foil.
Bake 30 min. or til heated thru. Uncover; top w/ remaining 1 c. mozzarella cheese. Bake, uncovered, an additional 5 min. or til cheese is melted. Let stand 5 min. before serving.

How it is done: Use extra-lean beef instead of Italian sausage. We replaced ricotta w/ Breakstone's or Knudsen Low Fat Cottage Cheese & used Kraft 2% Milk Reduced Fat Mozzarella Cheese. The result is a savings of 120 calories & 10 g. fat per serving.
