10-Minute Nacho Cheese Sauce
This super-simple sauce is the ultimate ball park-inspired topping. Enjoy it over tortilla chips, or as a dripping sauce for soft pretzels.

Ingredients
2 tbsp. salted butter
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 c. whole milk
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
8 oz. cheddar or American cheese, grated
1 tbsp. minced pickle jalapeno (optional)
Tortilla chips or soft pretzels
Directions
1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour; cook 1-2 min.
2. Whisk in milk & cayenne; bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low, then add cheese, whisking til melted & smooth, about 5 min.
3. Stir in jalapeno, if desired. Serve w/ tortilla chips or soft pretzels, refrigerating leftovers.
